We are looking for a talented systems administrator to join our small but dedicated IT team, currently consisting of two IT technicians and our IT manager. We believe you have a thorough infrastructure knowledge attained from a few years of experience from server and infrastructure operations, with a focus on setting up and operating virtual environments. You are well versed in the administration and configuration of JIRA, Windows Server and VMware, although experience from Linux and Hyper-V and AWS or Azure is meritable. Main responsibilities include proactively maintaining and updating our core systems and services to live up to our established KPIs, supporting our colleagues in their day-to-day work as well as contributing to the future design of our IT environment. You will be trusted to take ownership of one of our key systems and ensure that it is maintained in an efficient and secure manner as well as keeping yourself and others up-to-date with new features and implementations. The role may also include leading internal projects within the IT department.


  • JIRA Administration
  • Server management, troubleshooting and capacity planning

Required qualifications

  • JIRA Administration and maintenance (preferably on-premise) 3+ years
  • Windows Server & Client 5+ years
  • SSO solutions 3+ years
  • Hosting environment, both physical and virtual (VMWare/Hyper-V) 5+ years

Meritable qualifications

  • Linux experience
  • Storage solutions
  • Networking & Firewalls
  • Web servers, load balancers and DNS management
  • Infrastructure monitoring software (Nagios/OP5)

You are thorough and prefer long-term, stable solutions over quick fixes. Furthermore, you are able to take own initiatives and take a proactive approach to ensuring our IT delivery is smooth and efficient. The role is very broad and includes everything from helping out with basic user requests to designing new architecture for our future needs.
