Triumph Studios

The Company: Founded in 1997, Triumph Studios is one of the longest standing games companies in the Netherlands. All of Triumph's games have received critical acclaim and sold well across the globe. We have found success creating own IP and cultivating a strong community along with it. Next to offering competitive salaries we offer benefits such as pensions and reimbursement of travel expenses

As of Summer 2017, Triumph Studios has been part of Paradox Interactive, a leading global publisher of strategy games for PC and console. Paradox employs 250+ people in multiple countries.

The Games and Tech: Our games blend elements of multiple genres and have strong multiplayer components with deep mechanics that immerse players for hundreds of hours. We want our games to tell personal stories that people share. We write our own technology (The Creator Engine) and for most of our games, we ship level editing and modding tools along with it. As hardcore gamers ourselves, we work closely with a dedicated fan base.

The Team: Working at Triumph Studios means becoming part of a proven team of developers from multiple nationalities. Here you will find some of the most veteran developers in the Dutch games industry working closely together with young talent. We’re agile and informal and because we are a relatively small company, we value people who are flexible and are able to work with a high degree of autonomy. People do what they are good at, with little need for bureaucracy. Team members are welcome to make meaningful contributions to all areas of the company.

The Location: Triumph Studios is located in the bustling university town of Delft, the Netherlands. Our office is located near the main train station at the edge of the beautiful historic center. Restaurants, bars, shops, parking, public transport as well as residential areas are all within walking distance.

Our Culture

In November 2016, we gathered the entire company for a four day conference in Malta. The focus of the conference was to discuss company direction, discuss our internal goals, and also put into words the company culture we are so keen to keep as we continue to grow. Together, we decided that the following cultural pillars are what makes up the foundation of Paradox:
