Legal Counsel

We are now looking for a Legal Counsel who shares our passion for games! This is a great opportunity to be part of a successful and fast growing interactive games company and have a lot of fun at the same time.

As Legal Counsel at Paradox, you will be working with various tasks, from drafting and administering contracts (mostly distribution, license and IT agreements) to providing legal advice to different departments of the company, primarily Partner Management, IT, DevOps/ Analytics and also to our daughter company White Wolf Entertainment. You will also be responsible for answering compliance questions, from following up on our GDPR plan to organising internal courses about age ratings and answering questions in various fields of law.

Desired skills and experiences:

  • Swedish law degree
  • 2-4 years post qualification experience, ideally within contract law or compliance
  • Fluency in Swedish and English
  • Must be creative and solution-oriented, able to work in a team as on its own
  • Interest in computer games is essential
  • Any experience with distribution agreements, privacy regulations, IT and/or competition law is a merit

As a person we think you are able to work independently, take your own initiatives and find new solutions. It is important that you are both thorough and business-orientated. At the Legal department we need to work swiftly, answering last minute questions and finding compromises with different parts of the organisation. You will work together with our Senior Legal Counsel and Junior Legal Counsel and be part of the Corporate Services team consisting of Legal, Finance, IT, Office and People & Performance. Scope: Full time and permanent

Reports to: Senior Legal Counsel

Location: Stockholm
