Paradox is expanding its localization team! 

We are looking for someone to support our Grand Strategy Games in their localization efforts and set the path for future Localization pipelines! If you are passionate about Game Localization and helping the development teams ship the best game possible, we have a job for you in Stockholm, Sweden.

As a Localization Producer, you will focus on collaboration with our studios handling the Grand Strategy Games. You will establish and drive processes between the development teams and our Localization vendors, ensuring we localize on time, top quality, and cost-effectively. Through your expertise, you will help our teams better predict their localization costs and improve their use of translation tools and pipelines, while supporting the team as much as possible.

To be successful in this role, you will build strong relationships with our teams and vendors. You will be a part of the Paradox Development Studios but will also help support the wider Localization efforts at the company. You will also get in-Depth knowledge of Paradox’s Grand Strategy Games (incl. Mods), as well as experience tracking a complex project and providing support to clear blocking issues.

  • Set up and facilitate collaboration between studio and vendor.
  • Lead and manage the process of translating our games - ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Handle day-to-day Localization management work.
  • Become closely familiar with our games to identify opportunities for improvement and standardization of the existing Localization pipeline.
  • Drive continuous operational improvements by vetting studio localization pipelines and suggesting better practices.
  • Run post-mortems and evaluate the performance of our partners.
  • Support our teams in better predicting and understanding their localization costs.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a highly relevant position.
  • Experience working with teams across the globe.
  • Solid understanding of game development practice.
  • Great communicator and fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Able to analyze projects and catch potential issues in advance.
