Senior Product Marketing Manager

Paradox Interactive is looking for an experienced AAA video game marketing professional to take the lead on bringing a range of exciting new IPs to market. In this role, you will lead and coordinate several cross-functional marketing teams, each working on as yet unannounced, upcoming games. You will be tasked with overall responsibility for your segment marketing plans, ensuring that all teams and stakeholders are aligned and working together towards common goals. You will also be exploring synergies between projects and opportunities for collaboration and co-marketing with external partners and platform holders.

You will also work closely with product management and discipline heads within marketing, ensuring that Paradox has the staff, tools and capacity needed to successfully bring products to market in new genres.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of Paradox Interactive marketing, with particular emphasis on building expertise and marketing capacity in genres where we are not active today.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional marketing teams tasked with bringing as yet unannounced projects to market.
  • Validate and develop marketing plans, including positioning and go to market strategy, ensuring maximum synergies and that all key beats (announcement, pre-order, release, post-release etc) are executed with best possible results.
  • Ensure buy-in and deliverables from all marketing disciplines (PR, community management, performance marketing etc) and ensure teams are aligned and working towards common goals.
  • Manage external agencies and explore co-marketing opportunities and collaborations with partners to ensure maximum impact and results from marketing beats.
  • Where necessary, work hands-on with planned marketing beats for assigned IPs.  


  • 5+ years experience with AAA video games marketing in a product marketing or brand management role.
  • Experience leading and coordinating cross-functional marketing teams, ensuring all disciplines are represented and working together as a cohesive whole.   
  • Familiarity with the games published by Paradox Interactive.
  • Familiarity with all things RPGs, and the White Wolf Publishing catalogue of IPs in particular, will be considered a big plus.

On a personal level you have a strong sense of coordination, thriving in a situation where you have a lot on your plate. You have great communication skills and prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team organization. You find motivation in making your team members better by providing the support they need. This role requires you to constantly work across functions and departments to succeed under constantly changing circumstances. You have the ability to think big but at the same time you have a roll up the sleeves mentality being ready to dig in the mud whenever deemed necessary.

Scope: Full time and permanent
