Mobile Product Marketing Manager

Are you ready to take on a once in a lifetime opportunity to be part of a new team who will bring the successful brands from Paradox to mobile? The successful candidate will be a key driver on the marketing side of the challenge to deliver hardcore games for the mobile market!

As a Mobile Product Marketing Manager you are responsible for the marketing and sales of assigned brands, leading the work for and coordinating a team of marketing specialists enabling them to perform outstanding marketing campaigns. You are also part of a product team lead by a Product Manager providing a marketing perspective, and coordinating marketing plans with development plans. Your main responsibility is to lead marketing functions to ensure successful execution of your plans, maximizing revenue and player activity.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for product branding, positioning and overall marketing strategies & planning for mobile games, working with the functional teams in publishing – creative content, community, analytics, product management, and user acquisition
  • Deliver regular overall marketing analysis, making recommendations to continually refine marketing strategies around user acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Be the visionary driver of the each product from a marketing perspective, set clear pillars and direction for the whole organization to understand and agree on
  • Author mobile marketing briefs and provide branding direction to product, marketing, and community teams in order to maintain marketing consistency across all games, platforms and channels.
  • Champion the product across marketing teams and keep the team motivated in their work for assigned brands.
  • Managing expectations, priorities and ways of working in the marketing team and synchronize with product teams.
  • Owner of the marketing overview, marketing plan, marketing budget, marketing reporting docs for assigned brands.
  • Manage the mobile marketing team, could include direct reports.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of digital marketing experience having coordinated resources and delivered B2C products to market
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing
  • Experience with project management, preferably using agile methods
  • Strong business perspective with an understanding of how marketing should be optimized to contribute to revenue goals, including proven understanding on how F2P/GaaS model works in games
  • Experience from managing marketing team(s) for mobile or proven track-record from gamesindustry within product owner or business roles
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken

You have great communication skills and prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team organization. You find motivation in making your team members better by providing the support they need. This role requires you to constantly work across functions and departments to succeed under constantly changing circumstances. You have the ability to think big but at the same time you have a roll up the sleeves mentality being ready to dig in the mud whenever deemed necessary.  You consider yourself a good leader, self starter and a get-shit-done type of person.

Scope: Full time and permanent
Location: This position is based in Stockholm
