As a Content Designer on Stellaris at our development studio in Stockholm, you will be focused on designing, scripting, researching, and writing engaging game content. Your work will have a direct and influential impact on the quality and feel of the game. We are seeking storytellers who are passionate about their craft and about creating exciting experiences for our players. ● Designing and implementing short narratives as well as other types of content for various gameplay systems
● Writing text for in-game content in (American) English that thematically fits the game
● Scripting game logic, game databases, and branching narratives using our in-house scripting language
● Researching related topics to find inspiration for entertaining content and memorable gameplay experiences
● Taking ownership of tasks and working independently to ensure quality and timely delivery in coordination with fellow Content Designers
● Defining audiovisual asset needs and communicating them to the Producer and relevant stakeholders
● Fluent in English with an excellent command of written American English.
● Experience with or interest in code-based scripting.
● Experience in narrative design or game design.
● Familiarity with Paradox Grand Strategy games.
