Mobile Producer

As a Mobile Producer you are part of the product team and in this team you are responsible for making sure the development of the product progresses according to plan and delivers upon the set goals. This means hitting the right balance between quality, budget and delivering on time. At the same time you make sure the product doesn’t deviate from the original vision of the product. You create and manage the production plans. You manage and prioritize the set production budget. The Mobile Producer will set up and drive the milestone schedule. Aligning with the development team on when to deliver what and conducting milestone reviews to validate the delivery meets the agreed upon expectations. You will actively support and step in to help the development team moving forward.

The Mobile Producer moves the project forward by solving problems and managing risks. You are the champion of the process and guides the development team through the Paradox Development Framework.

You will be partner-in-crime with the Product Manager for each product and also be one of the faces of the product towards the players, press and partners.


Responsibilities within the Product team (but not limited to):

  • Production of the product and delivering upon the set goals
  • Managing and prioritizing the production budget
  • Create and manage the production plans
  • Conduct milestone reviews
  • Final software quality and delivery
  • Solving problems and managing risks
  • Guiding the development team through the development process
  • Collaborating with the other Paradox Departments
  • Nurture a healthy relationship with the development team
  • Make sure the Product team is up to date with the development progress and status

Requirements:

  • 5 + years of experience as a Producer or Product Owner within the games industry
  • Taken two or more mobile F2P games to Hard Launch
  • Fluent English, both written and spoken

To be successful you collaborate and communicate with the other departments at Paradox. You make sure every team is aligned on what the project needs are and that these will be delivered in time for the project. You are expected to challenge the set expectations, priorities and processes. Sharing and seeking information is an important aspect of the Mobile Producers work.

You are calm, pragmatic and structured. You have the ability to communicate efficiently with different audiences (developers, internal stakeholders, journalists) on a broad range of topics i.e. technical, business and creative. You are very good at organizing and prioritizing both your own and other's work. Furthermore, you have the ability to work under a tight schedule while still delivering quality results.

Location: This position is based in Stockholm
