Data Engineer
We are now looking for a Data Engineer to join Data, Analytics & BI and our Central Tech & Services (CTS) department.
The Data, Analytics & BI teams work closely together to provide Paradox’s various game studios and publishing teams with insights and data. As a data engineer you will join the data platform team who is responsible of developing and maintaining scalable data flows of both internal and external data into our central data warehouse Snowflake.
You will work closely with developers, data scientists, digital analysts and BI specialists in order to deliver on end-to-end data solutions for Paradox.
What you will be doing
Maintain and build the data infrastructure mainly in AWS and Snowflake
Build, maintain and optimize ELTs in Python/SQL
Development of data APIs in NodeJS
What we would like to see:
- Experience SQL, Python and/or NodeJS
- Extensive hands-on experience within data engineering or development of REST APIs with high traffic.
Experience with data warehousing, data pipelines and ELT orchestration
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Experience working with cloud environment (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
Experience with Terraform
Experience with both python and NodeJS
We believe you are a service-minded, driven and curious individual, comfortable with solving problems and working autonomously within a group. Your role in the team is flexible and can include being the one who identifies viable solutions as well as implementing them, and also mentoring others. Your English communication skills are excellent, both verbally and in writing.

We offer competitive monthly salary and salary revision once per year with participation in our company wide profit share program.
