C++ developers with a passion for games wanted!

Paradox Development Studio is now looking to hire a developer to work in a dynamic, playful and exciting environment. For the person with the right skills and mindset we can offer a great opportunity to work with skilled colleagues and have real fun!

You will be working in a small team with our Grand Strategy titles, continuously developing our games. Since our teams are quite small you will work with all aspects of the game. You will also collaborate closely with designers and artists in order to implement new gameplay features.


  • Implement Gameplay and visual features as well as optimization and AI as required.

Required Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of professional experience working in C++. Experience from games is not required but will be considered an advantage.
  • Skill and interest in C++ programming
  • Able to estimate your own time and taking ownership of your features
  • You are comfortable in English, both written and spoken

Good to have

  • Previous experience with Visual Studio or other, similar environments.
  • Previous experience working on Linux or OSX.

We believe it is very important that you are able to take ownership of the areas of the game you are assigned and independently, or with others, able to design or redesign parts of the code. The important thing is that you are passionate about developing games and can easily adapt to new methods in games programming. We think you are good at cooperating with new groups of people but also able to work independently. As a person you are positive, dedicated, responsible, and love a challenge. An interest in strategy games and history, and in particular the grand strategy games from Paradox, will be considered a big plus.
