As a Producer on the publishing side, you are part of the product team, and in this team, you are responsible for making sure the development of the game progresses according to plan and delivers upon the set goals. This means hitting the right balance between quality, budget and delivering on time. At the same time you make sure the game doesn’t deviate from the original vision. You create and manage the production plans. You manage and prioritize the set production budget. The Producer will set up and drive the milestone schedule; align with the development team on when to deliver what, and conduct milestone reviews to validate the delivery meets the agreed-upon expectations..

To be successful, you collaborate and communicate with the other departments at Paradox. You make sure every team is aligned on what the project needs are and that these will be delivered in time for the project. You are expected to challenge the set expectations, priorities and processes. Seeking and sharing information is an important aspect of the Producer's work.

The Producer moves the project forward by solving problems and managing risks. You are the champion of the process and guide the development team through the Paradox Development Framework.

The producer is also usually one of the faces of the game towards the players, press and partners.

  • Make sure the Product team is up-to-date with the development progress and status


  • At least 5 years of seeing a video game through the full development cycle from concept to release in relevant role
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken

On a personal, level you are passionate about moving the projects forward by both proactively solving problems and being able to think on the fly. You are a great communicator both verbally and in writing. You have an ability to explain complex problems in digestible form. You constantly seek out other people and departments for collaboration and alignment.

Reports to: Segment Lead Producer
Location: Stockholm
