Studio operations manager

As Studio operations manager you are responsible for developing and driving projects related to our studio organization. You will work closely with the Chief Operations Officer, the studio managers and the departments at Paradox that collaborate with them. This is an organic role that will evolve and bring new challenges with it as the Paradox studio organization changes. Most of the projects will be related to studio on-boarding and development, strategic planning and organization as well as knowledge sharing between studios.

You are an integral part of our studio-level strategy and development. As a close liaison to the studios, you know them by heart, always working towards the shared benefit of them and Paradox as a whole.

As Paradox studios are based in many different places globally (currently Sweden, Netherlands, US West Coast) travel will be part of the job.


  • Investigate studio org and processes as part of M&A due diligence team
  • Be the liaison between new studios and Paradox Interactive, delivering on the M&A protocol as studios are integrated into Paradox
  • Make sure studios develops, updates and follows its strategic plan, aligned with Paradox’s high-level vision and goals
  • Set and drive standards for studio overviews, reporting and follow up, roadmaps for their long-term growth and development
  • Organize knowledge sharing across studios and Paradox Interactive, especially as it relates to processes, organization, culture and management
  • Drive studio cultural development, aligning values and activities between studios and PDX
  • Act as stand in for COO in contacts with the studios and in relation to other departments at PDX


  • Bachelor degree or higher in relevant field
  • Management experience from one or more game studios
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
  • Experience working with stakeholder management
