Your mission
As a Data Developer/Engineer you will join a team and work closely together to provide Paradox’s various game studios and publishing teams with data. You will join the data platform team who is responsible for developing and maintaining scalable data flows of both internal and external data into our central warehouse Snowflake. You will work closely with developers, data scientists, digital analysts and BI specialists in order to deliver on end-to-end data solutions for Paradox.
At Paradox you will be part of creating the foundation which our analyst, data scientist and BI specialists use to provide insights to our games and studios. Our focus is building a data platform that can grow with our games and players. As a data engineer you will be part of impacting how this platform is build.
The skills we’re searching for…
Working experience with big data processing in AWS/Azure or GCP
Working experience with SQL, JavaScript and/or Python
Experience with development of REST APIs
Working experience data warehousing and data architecture
Your English communication skills are excellent, both verbally and in writing.
We believe you are a service-minded, driven and curious individual, comfortable with solving problems and working autonomously within a group. Your role in the team is flexible and can include being the one who identifies viable solutions as well as implementing them, and also mentoring others.

Compensation
We offer competitive monthly salary and salary revision once per year with participation in our company wide profit share program.
You will be given 5+1 weeks of paid vacation per year. About Paradox Interactive
Today, Paradox consists of both publishing and internal game development. We have a broad portfolio of games and own the most important brands, including Stellaris, Europa Universalis, Hearts of Iron, Crusader Kings, Cities: Skylines, Prison Architect, Victoria, Age of Wonders and the World of Darkness catalog of brands.
Since 2004, the company has published its games all over the world, initially through physical distribution but primarily in digital channels after 2006. Paradox games are developed primarily for PC and console platforms, but the company also releases games on mobile.
