We are looking for a Data Scientist to join the Analytics Team. As a member of the Analytics team you will work closely with the product teams to help them become truly data-driven. You will also support high impact business decisions by analyzing external and internal data and producing reports and visualizations.

On a day-to-day basis you will be sitting embedded in product teams and support them with analysis of quantitative data generated by our users. You’ll function as an internal consultant, proactively working with stakeholders to support business decisions and evangelizing a data-driven culture at Paradox.

Responsibilities

  • Developing statistical, predictive analytics models and insights using scientific test/validation based methods. An example is to define a proper control group in a player churn analysis and analyze the outcome of actions taken to reduce player churn.
  • Design and interpret results of A/B tests to continuously improve products and services.
  • Build clear and relevant dashboards and graphs in a world-leading BI tool. 
  • Create a clear overview of how players move through Paradox’s Ecosystem by creating player lifecycle KPIs, defining loyalty levels and deliver financial business KPIs.

Requirements

  • Experience working with Data Science or in a closely related field.
  • B.A. or B.S. in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or similar.
  • Experience of using SQL as well as R, Python or similar.

If you have experience working with marketing related questions it will be considered an advantage, as well as previous experience from the gaming industry, though neither of these is required. We are an international workplace, and we will expect you to have no trouble handling communication in English.
