QA Analyst - Unannounced Project
As a QA Analyst at Paradox Development Studio, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functional quality of our games, primarily working on a yet Unannounced Project. As part of the QA team, you will work in close collaboration with our internal development teams and project leadership to create and execute test plans to ensure the highest quality standard of our games and processes alike. Additionally, you will also perform direct hands-on QA work, such as carrying out a variety of tests as required alongside the development process.
You will be working integrated with the rest of the development team and collaborate on all parts of the game together with and serve as a contact and collaboration point with external partners. A key aspect of your role will be to monitor and communicate project health and proactively highlighting risks to project leadership. Following project priorities, you'll oversee and execute QA cycles to meet the highest quality standards.
The skills we’re searching for
2+ years of hands-on QA experience or a relevant game school degree
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of communicating complex subjects to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Interest in strategy/war games; PDS games in particular
Experience using Jira or similar tools would be considered advantageous
Fluent in English
You will be working in a team that values collaboration and cooperation. It’s important that you aren’t afraid to raise issues or to suggest improvements to any and all aspects of the game or the workflow. Self drive and independence is important but also trust in your colleges if you need support. Since we are a fast-paced company, curiosity and an ability to get into things quickly are two important aspects.
