Junior Fullstack Developer - Account Services Team

We are looking for a Junior Fullstack JavaScript Developer to work as part of our Account Services team in the DevOps department. The DevOps department is responsible for the Paradox Ecosystem which provides a variety of services and products to Paradox’s various Game Studios. 

As part of the Account Services team, you will work on our Paradox Account web services. Development projects will primarily be focused on account security/connectivity, player insights, conversion tracking and features intended to engage players outside of our games.

You will also work on various development projects focused on delivering new and updated features for players, Paradox game studios, and internal tools. You will be part of a team tasked with designing, building, and shaping the effort in realizing features that enrich our Paradox ecosystem. 

What you will be doing:

  • Generalized JavaScript development in the frontend and backend to build and maintain services, scripts, and cloud functions.
  • Build and maintain internal JavaScript libraries and utilities.

What we need to see:

  • Some academic or vocational experience with modern JavaScript (ES2018+).
  • Some academic or vocational experience of NodeJS.

Ways to stand out from the crowd:

  • University Degree in Computing and/or a Mathematical discipline
  • Provide links to Code repositories of your personal and/or pet projects

We believe you are a service-minded, driven, and explorative individual; Your English communication skills are excellent and are backed by patience in taking the time to understand others as well as in explaining yourself.

Scope: Full time and permanent
Reports to: Programming Manager
Location: This position is based in Stockholm, Sweden
