As a Brand Community Developer for World of Darkness, your responsibility is to conceive, develop, plan, and execute the community-facing side of the marketing plan for the brand. This implies identifying, cultivating, and activating relevant communities attached to the world of darkness and its various products; as well as growing globally the size of our owned audience and share of voice for the brand. You are relying on community initiatives, actions, activities, events, communications, and innovative social media campaigns, that you will define to be relevant and efficient for your brand.

In collaboration with the Brand Manager and Brand Marketing Manager, you develop a community strategy and plan for the World of Darkness. You are responsible for the design and execution of community-related campaigns, activities and the management of social media channels. You measure the success and impact of your actions, adapting your plans while ensuring alignment with the rest of the brand strategy, and guaranteeing those community efforts contribute to the brand objectives and overall brand KPI. You are also responsible for all owned media channels associated with the brand (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Discord, Forums, or others).

You coordinate and work through our licensing partners' community efforts, synchronizing community messaging, tone and activities to maximize their outcomes. You also directly manage freelance Community Ambassador(s) working on your assigned brands, and in specific communities, to ensure the engagement, moderation, and management of the communication and social media channels.

Required qualifications

  • A couple of years experience in community management, social media, brand management and/or digital marketing, preferably working with entertainment and lifestyle brands. 
  • A deep interest and knowledge of the World of Darkness as a brand, and its various attached and licensed products.
  • Excellent proactive and reactive communication skills.
  • Solid and reliable project management capabilities. 
  • Fluency in written and spoken English.
