Producer

Now we need more people to help us shape the next generation of award-winning strategy, management and role-playing games! Are you one of them?

Do you possess the ability to spread enthusiasm throughout a team while still being a strong and structured planner? Do you gladly take on the challenge of driving quality to the maximum while keeping true to the original vision? Paradox is looking for a producer on the publishing side to work with our third party projects!

You will use your experience in project management and planning to assess risks in development plans while at the same time take on a generalists more holistic perspective to the game project(s) you are working on. Developers report to you, you make sure everything is on track and then report inwards to Paradox. Problems or opportunities, big or small, are yours to work with in your projects.

You face challenges and run with them whether they originate in publishing or development. And while doing this you are informing all stakeholders about what is going on in a descriptive and calm manner.

 

Responsibilities

·         Act as publishing producer on third party projects.

·         Monitor, set and adapt quality targets, developer budgets and vision compliance of the designated projects: are we hitting our goals?

·         Communicate with developers regarding production matters.

·         Represent the game internally and externally when needed.

 

Required qualifications

·         3 years of experience akin to: project management, team leadership, development lead, external project management.

·         Excellent communication- and social skills, both written and spoken.

A first hand understanding of the type of games we make is of course preferred but can be mitigated by a will to learn and a good understanding of similar genres.

As a person you are calm, pragmatic and structured. You have the ability to communicate efficiently with different audiences (developers, internal stakeholders, journalists) on a broad range of topics (i.e. technical, business and creative). You act as a problem solver in tight situations and focus on the greater good. You are a team player, not a lone star.

Scope: Fulltime and permanent

Reports to: Production Manager

Location: This position is based in Stockholm
