About the role

You will lead the Partner Relations team, ensuring that Paradox is making the most of existing partnerships while securing valuable new ones. You will be in charge of working with first-party and third-party partners from next-gen consoles to emerging digital storefronts and game delivery services. You will propose and negotiate deals, lead the work of the team, and help Paradox stay at the forefront of game distribution.

You and your team will be in charge of valuable partnerships with companies like Microsoft, Sony, Valve, Epic, Nintendo, Google, and many more, and your voice will help define our relationships with these industry-defining partners. You will work with our legal and finance department to ensure contracts and reporting requirements are met, and with our internal product and marketing teams to ensure that new opportunities align with Paradox product and strategy plans.

This role will be located in our headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden.


  • Work on a portfolio level to negotiate partnerships and procure deal-flow for product teams with all distribution and sales partners.
  • Lead, grow and develop the Partner Relations team through process improvements, best practices, and prioritisation of resources.
  • Ensure relevant departments at Paradox are up to speed with relevant information (i.e. new features or platforms) and content/creative demands while soliciting information from partners to reach product teams’ KPIs and revenue goals.
  • Identify and develop new relevant partners and handle contract negotiations to drive short- and long-term revenue and visibility for Paradox products.
  • Take ownership of existing and potential top-tier 1st party relationships.
  • Set revenue targets per partner based on the portfolio forecast.
  • Guide and align product and marketing plans with partner activities and plans in mind (e.g. adapting to next-gen, promotional windows, ensuring assets are up to the quality required from 1st party).

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of key account management experience, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience working within the gaming industry in a similar role 
  • 2+ years of leading a team or equivalent
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or marketing
  • Excellent English, both written and spoken
