Ready to drive the UX vision on our quest to build and maintain an ever-evolving and creative portfolio of products to support the wonderful world of Paradox games? This is a key role where you will be influencing the future player experience by designing and developing an innovative digital ecosystem for all Paradox players.

About the role

We are looking for a Passionate and driven UX lead to take on a creative leadership role within the Player Services team at Paradox Interactive. You bring experience and tools to help and support the team as we together drive the creative development of our Digital ecosystem forward.

As UX Lead you manage stakeholders from several departments on a daily basis and you are the Player Service spokesperson in design related forums. The role holds a mix of both hands-on work and more conceptual, visionary work.

You lead and facilitate design work across a number of ongoing projects. You support our UX designers throughout the whole workflow, from exploratory workshops to final mockups and interactive prototypes. Jointly with the product owners you sponsor and drive the vision for each product.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant UX work in an agency or product development setting
  • Experience from all stages of product development
  • Strong communication skills. Fluent English is a requirement. 
  • Experience in collaboration with stakeholders, developers and other UX designers
  • A proven track record of designing and shipping digital products
  • Good knowledge of User experience practices and UX strategy standards 
  • A broad set of design skills ranging from UX to UI and art direction
  • Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals, including typography, layout and balance
  • A background from working in cross-functional teams with agile processes and user centric methods.

Bonus points

  • Passionate about games
  • Previous experience in the games industry is a merit but not required.

Finally, you are passionate about constantly moving things forward, solving problems with a conscientious mind.
