Paradox Interactive AB is now looking for a passionate General Counsel to head the legal function for the company group. If you have a profound interest in business law and would like to work in a fast-growing company this might be an opportunity for you.

As General Counsel, you are responsible for the legal function in the company group, making sure legal risks are evaluated and under control and that the company group complies with all regulatory requirements. You provide legal advice and support to our business operations within areas such as: 

  • Development agreements
  • License agreements
  • Trademarks
  • Copyright and other intellectual property rights
  • Corporate governance and capital markets
  • M&A
  • Dispute resolution. 

An important part of the role is also to lead and develop a team of inhouse lawyers and procure and co-ordinate external legal contacts. Finally, you are expected to develop and improve legal processes and work routines and drive the strategy for the legal function. 


  • 8 + years of experience working with business law either as a corporate lawyer or at a law firm – it’s a plus if you have worked as a corporate lawyer for a listed company.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law
  • Strong skills in corporate law and commercial agreements is required and experience within capital markets, intellectual property, M&A and media law is advantageous   
  • High integrity combined with an ability to understand the needs of the business 
  • Solution oriented and dedicated
  • Good communications skills
  • Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written
