Paradox is stepping up its localization game. We are looking for someone to play a key role in raising our quality in localizing our games and the storefronts where we make the games available, and steer Paradox in the right direction.

As a Senior Localization Producer in our publishing department, you will mainly collaborate with our studios, marketing teams, and localization vendors. You will establish and drive collaborations and processes between them, ensuring they deliver on time, to quality, and cost-effectively. Through your expertise, you will help our teams better predict their localization costs and improve their use of translation tools and pipelines.

To be successful in this, you will build strong relationships with our teams and vendors, and explore new relationships. You will benefit greatly from regular travels to our studios and localization partners, and you will be a key influence in setting Paradox’s direction for localization - concerning anything from which partners to work with, to establishing high-level goals and strategies for the future of localization at Paradox.

Responsibilities:

  • Find the right vendors for Paradox and grow our collaborative relationships.
  • Set up and facilitate collaboration between studio and vendor.
  • Lead and manage the process of translating our games, services and marketing, for text as well as voice-over - ensuring quality and reliability.
  • Drive continuous operational improvements by vetting studio localization pipelines and suggesting better practices.
  • Run post-mortems and evaluate the performance of our partners.
  • Support our teams in better predicting and understanding their localization costs.
  • Develop and drive company-level localization goals.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a highly relevant position.
  • Experience working with teams across the globe.
  • Solid understanding of game development practices necessary for helping out studios streamline their localization processes.
  • Great communicator and fluent in English, both written and spoken.

On a personal level, you are diligent and highly organized, paying close attention to detail. You are passionate about collaborating and building relationships, and love the idea of working with our studios to present the game in the best light possible. And perhaps above all, you’re greatly motivated by the endeavor to standardize and push forward our localization efforts.
