Do you want to make a big difference at a small studio? Paradox is on an ambitious journey to explore and expand on Grand Strategy Games, a genre we invented and want to take to new heights. To do this, we are looking for a Producer in Malmö to help make sure our games get released on time, with quality and on budget.

You will collaborate with programmers, game designers, artists and QA, creating and expanding on one of our world-class Grand Strategy games. Your team will be small and autonomous where each member has a big impact on the finished game. In other words, at Paradox Malmö, you will play a big part in a small studio building a grand game.

This role comes with a lot of responsibility; you will be expected to lead your team towards a shared goal as well as being accountable for milestone deliveries. You will play an important part in the project leadership to make sure game hits expected milestones while enabling the team to collaborate effectively to ensure game quality. 

Responsibilities

  • Ensure game gets delivered on time and on budget
  • Own the JIRA backlog
  • Facilitate agile meetings such as sprint planning, grooming, sprint reviews and demos
  • Create, prioritize and manage requirements, production plans and budget
  • Identify and clear any blockers preventing the team from progressing.

 
Required Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a game producer and in leading a team on a commercial game project
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
  • Knowledge of JIRA is considered an advantage


On a personal level, you have a strong sense of ownership for the end result, and are not afraid of practically solving issues yourself. You have a deep interest in making games and in project management methodologies. You constantly seek out other people and departments for collaboration and alignment.
