At Paradox, we listen to our players, and we aim to diversify the platforms on which they can experience our games. For this, we need someone with a strong understanding of the distribution platforms on which we operate.

About the role

As a Game Platform Specialist, you will be part of our Product Launch team. You will bridge the gap between our publishing and development teams, and the tools and hardware they need in order to deliver on each platform.

This means on-boarding teams onto a platform, setting up test environments, helping marketing teams capture content in a certain environment, documenting procedures, and troubleshooting throughout development. You will be the trusted go-to person for any of these platform-related needs.

To be successful in this position, you will build relationships internally, and become an expert on the platforms and hardware provided by our distribution partners, such as Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Valve and GOG. To that end, you will have direct contact with partners, also attending some of their conferences and events.


  • Become highly familiar with both current-gen and next-gen platforms and hardware, as well as PC distribution platforms (such as Steam, GOG and Epic).
  • Help our developers on-board onto console use, such as console setup, dev account creation, and build installation.
  • Support our publishing teams and studios in setting up test environments for internal or external testing.
  • Support internal and external marketing teams in setting up environments for smoothly and optimally capturing marketing material.
  • Troubleshoot issues throughout development.
  • Document best practices and create processes for game teams to work more efficiently, helping them release on time and quality.


  • QA background with extensive experience in console (PlayStation 4 and Xbox One) and PC platforms.
  • Nintendo Switch experience is a plus.
  • Excellent in English, both written and spoken.

Our Culture
