QA Analyst - Crusader Kings

Your Mission
As a QA Analyst at Studio Black, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the functional quality of the Crusader Kings franchise. Together with the QA Manager, you will work in close collaboration with the internal development teams and project leadership to create and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure the highest quality standard of our games and processes alike
Key responsibilities
Leading, tracking, and supporting both internal and outsourced QA Testers
Collaborate closely with Project Leadership, Producers, and QA leadership to assess potential risks, and strategize testing coverage for new features or releases.
Support the development and upkeep of test-plans and various other testing-related documentation.
Monitor and manage bug reports in the issue tracking system, ensuring effective triaging and follow-up.
Detect, isolate, and report bugs with clear reproduction steps, ensuring accurate reporting within the bug-tracking system.
Provide valuable feedback for our game and be a part of related discussions about features, content, and the game.
Foster strong collaboration between QA and other departments, to ensure a smooth workflow across the project.
The skills we’re searching for…
1+ years of hands-on QA experience or a relevant game school degree.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of communicating complex subjects to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent in English.
We consider it a plus if you have…
Solid understanding (and hopefully love) of playing Crusader Kings III or equivalent GSGs
Experience using Jira (or similar issue & project tracking software)
Experience in scripting, particularly for modding Paradox games
