Introduction.
The Marketing Creative department is in need of a Production Manager for all its ongoing video productions. Creative is the central cog in the production of Paradox marketing material. We produce visual identities, Key art, logo and packaging of new games and DLC’s. We also produce most trailers, feature breakdowns and developer interviews. We collaborate with many external freelancers and studios but also create assets inhouse.
At Creative we work on-demand. We use Asana to handle tickets for all the productions and planning. We assign these tickets to our producers. As a Production Manager within Creative you are in charge of organizing and planning all aspects of production projects - from scheduling recordings, book locations and delegate tasks. You are expected to keep track of tickets, take care of the logistics for filming and coordinate with stakeholders. You will work with the production of both pre-recorded as well as live streamed video. You are also expected to communicate and book external resources if needed.
Goals and KPIs
Your responsibility is to ensure that video productions are completed on deadline or flag if there is any potential risk of missing deadline. You strive to understand the purpose of the videos and make sure the outcome is the best solution to fit into the objectives and goals set by you and your stakeholders. You proactive approach extends to collaborating with stakeholders to further enhance the experience of the videos as well as come up with ideas to help reach your stakeholders goals short- and long-term. Your goals are often set by PMM and/or BO but you still have goals and KPIs of your own that include but are not limited to:
Oversee daily operations
Meet set deadlines.
Time management and plan recordings.
Communicate with internal stakeholders.
Resource management to meet the needs of the organization
Source and manage external suppliers involved in the production
Meet good quality while balancing work.
Relationships
As a Production Manager you report to the Head of Marketing Creative. You will have a close working relationship with your colleagues in the Marketing Creative team. You need to establish a close collaboration with the Product Marketing Manager and the Community management department as those will often be your stakeholders. Other important relationships also include the internal/corporate communications team.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Dispatch production tickets to responsible parties
Be skilled in managing both small and large-scale video productions.
Have strong time management, organizational skills, and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Be proficient in resource, project, and time-tracking tools (Asana or similar Kanban experience desirable).
Have solid Communication skills across different teams. Establish and uphold a solid stakeholder relationship.
Full Planning, booking, pre-production and make sure that post production workflow is followed
Provide consultation for shooting, editing, and duplication process, including planning and management of project timelines
Proactively work with all Paradox games as well as internal Paradox projects.
Qualifications
Minimum 5+ years experience of multi channel from production management, video or trailer production agency.
Proven experience with recorded productions as well as live streamed video productions.
Great planning and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
Familiar with Asana or similar workflow tools.
Knowledge of marketing assets and formats, video and still images.
Excellent communication skills.
