Chinese Community Ambassador - Cities: Skylines
About the role
As a Community Ambassador for the greater China market, you work as a part-time freelancer to support the activation, moderation, and development of the community and audience for a brand. You contribute to the growth and engagement of a healthy, inclusive community by assisting with the execution of the go-to-market strategy and community plan, as well as supporting the management of relevant social media accounts and channels.You report remotely to the Community Programs Specialist of the brand and work closely with them in day-to-day operations. You are responsible for the brand media channels assigned to you (BiliBili, Zhihu, WeChat, QQ groups, Paradox Forum, Steam, or others).You are paid as a freelance worker, on the number of effective work hours reported, not exceeding 20 hours per week, at an hourly rate defined in your contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultural Bridge: Connect brand and Chinese players.
- Performance Analysis: Track KPIs and provide insights.
- Content Excellence: Prepare localized social media copy.
- Reporting & Recommendations: Develop monthly reports with growth recommendations.
- Multimedia Savvy: Edit short and long-form videos.
Required Qualifications
- Bilingual Fluency: Native Chinese, strong English.
- Cultural Acumen: Understand Chinese culture, internet trends, and social media etiquette.
- Exceptional Communication: Strong interpersonal skills, professional demeanor.
- Autonomous & Collaborative: Work independently and in teams, manage multiple tasks.
- Chinese Social Media Mastery: In-depth experience managing Chinese social media.
- Franchise Enthusiast: Familiarity with Cities: Skylines.
Desirable Skills
- Community Expert: Experience in community-focused projects (moderating, administrating, leading fan communities).
- Proven Social Media Track Record: Success managing accounts on platforms like Baidu Tieba, QQ, and BiliBili.
- Creative Tool Proficiency: Advanced Photoshop and video editing skills.
