We are developing an ambitious simulation game with unprecedented scale and detail. We are looking for a Senior Game Designer who can take ownership of complex systems, balancing deep economies and simulation mechanics to create an engaging player experience that stands the test of time.

What you will be doing:

• Design, model, and balance intricate in-game economies and simulation systems.

• Take ownership of major features from concept to completion, creating clear documentation and driving their implementation.

• Collaborate closely with other designers, programmers and artists to ensure mechanics are both technically feasible and fun.

• Ensuring our games are engaging and fun to play.

The skills you need to have:

• Professional experience as a Game Designer, ideally with a shipped title in the strategy, simulation, or management genre.

• Practical experience working within Unity or a similar game engine.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for modeling complex data and economies.

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to deconstruct and balance abstract systems.

• Excellent communication skills: You can clearly articulate your vision to a multidisciplinary team.

How to stand out from the crowd:

• Deep passion for City Builder, Management and Strategy games.

• Familiarity with scripting or basic programming to prototype ideas independently.

• Experience mentoring junior designers or leading design initiatives.

Our office is located within a walking distance from downtown Tampere. Due to the highly collaborative nature of the work, we expect you to be able to work at the office.
