Chinese Community Ambassador for Stellaris
The Chinese Community Ambassador is a key role in supporting the engagement of the brand's community. Responsibilities include executing the community plan and managing assigned social media channels.
As a Community Ambassador for the China market, you work as a part-time freelancer to support the activation, moderation, and development of the community and audience for a brand. You contribute to the growth and engagement of a healthy, inclusive community by assisting with the execution of the go-to-market strategy and community plan, as well as supporting the management of relevant social media accounts and channels.
You report remotely to the Community Manager of the brand and work closely with them in day-to-day operations. You are responsible for the brand media channels assigned to you (BiliBili, Zhihu, WeChat, QQ groups, Paradox Forum, Steam, or others).
You are paid as a freelance worker, on the number of effective work hours reported, normally not exceeding 20 hours per week, at an hourly rate defined in your contract.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and moderate the brand social media accounts assigned to you.
Act as the bridge between your assigned brand and Chinese players.
Collect feedback from and engage with Chinese players.
Analyze social media metrics to assess engagement and growth
Prepare the text copies to be shared on social media platforms and beyond.
Localize developer diaries and videos.
Prepare monthly reports with actionable insights and recommendations.
Video editing experience for both short and long-form content
Required Qualifications
Native-level fluency in Chinese language and strong proficiency in English and be able to communicate effectively with a western team of developers
Deep understanding of Chinese culture, internet trends, and social media etiquette.
Strong interpersonal skills and composure.
Ability to work both independently or in a team, and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Knowledge of managing Chinese social media platforms and how to operate them independently.
Strong interest and familiarity with Paradox titles, strategy and simulation games.
Desirable
Experience in community-focused projects, like moderating, administrating or leading thriving fan communities and initiatives.
Proven experience in managing social media accounts, as well as online communities on , Baidu Tieba, QQ groups, BiliBili and other platforms (content production, posting, moderation, etc.).
Deep interest in deep historical and strategy games
Experience with translating documents into Chinese language.
Adept knowledge of Photoshop and other video editing tools.
