Paradox Interactive is looking for a Head of Legal to lead and shape the legal function across the group. If you have a strong background in business law, this is an opportunity to play a key role in a listed international gaming company.

Your mission

You will act as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, ensuring that legal considerations are effectively integrated into business decisions across the group. You will provide legal advice and support across areas such as:

• Commercial agreements (development, publishing)

• Intellectual property (trademarks, copyright)

• Corporate governance and capital markets

• M&A

An important part of the role is to lead and develop the legal team, setting direction, priorities, and ways of working. You will also manage and coordinate external legal counsel. You will be responsible for developing and improving legal processes as well as driving the strategy for the legal function, including leveraging AI and legal tech to improve efficiency and decision-making.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working with business law, either as a corporate lawyer or at a law firm.

• Strong skills in corporate law and commercial agreements are required.

• Experience from a listed company or working with capital markets is highly valued, as is experience within media or gaming.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in law

• Strong business judgement and ability to balance legal risk with commercial objectives

• Excellent communication skills

• Fluent in Swedish and English, spoken and written

• Experience in AI is a bonus
